The Invasion - Utah and Omaha Beaches
Utah Beach - Americans land in the wrong
place. This turns out to be a fortunate mistake.
By the afternoon the beach was filled with
thousands of vehicles and men moving
steadily off the beach, building a three mile
wide beachhead.
Omaha Beach - The beach is heavily defended
by a highly experienced German division. The
beach is purchased at the cost of 2,000 casualties.
